Is he wearing flippers in that last one? I wish we could see his feet.

Did he just win the 100-yard butterfly?

When you are the best closer in the game on the team with the best record, you are entitled.

    Walk it off, princess.

I’d rather see Papelbuns partying than Gay-Rod humping his bat in celebration!

Shouldn’t the best closer in the game , on the team with the best record, have more saves than Joe Borowski, whose team _also_ has the best record you clueless homer asshole?

hey meesh stop hating on papelbon – as you may or may not know the number of saves is predicated on the lead the team has when coming into a game – the Indians played more close games therefore Borowski had more save attempts – it is rocket science but when you look at actual stats – ERA, WHIP, k/9, k:BB, sv % you will see this: Palebon 1.85, 0.77, 13.03 (highest in MLB HISTORY), 5.6 and 92.5% vs. Borowski’s impressive 5.07, 1.43, 8.03, 3.4 and 84.9%…but like you said Borowski had 8 more saves so he is much better – the lesson here is dont call people clueless when you have a brain the size of a marble

Good point Saucy, too much venom.

Papelbon inexplicably wins the 200-yard Individual Medley in some unknown pool and all people can talk about are closer’s stats.

Something tells me he was into the champagne (and maybe something else) before the party even started. 😉

Hey Boner, must be fun for you and your boys down at the Jake to actually care about baseball in the month of October. Have fun this week, but don’t go cancelling those tee times for next week just yet, big fella!

How come Papelbon is wearing just his underwear? The other guys all have on those long red shorts, but Paps appears to be wearing nothing but his UnderArmour.

I’m not complaining, mind you, just wondering. There is absolutely nothing wrong about dancing around on national TV in underpants & swim goggles!
