Mushnick setting stage for inevitable cage match with John Sterling

Phil_mushnick_phixr
It may be 9 months until WrestleMania XXV but Phil Mushnick is no fool, and he knows damn well what being involved in such an enormous, respected, worldwide event would mean for his column and for his career.  Well after reading today’s fightin’ words regarding his favorite Jabroni, John Sterling, we can only assume this beef could lead to one thing — steel cage match, April 5, 2009 in Houston, Texas:

"THAT we should never expect better from John Sterling doesn’t make it any easier. To be stuck in a car, forced to
listen to the 20-year Voice of the New York Yankees describe a game, is
to be the victim of a crime against baseball, broadcasting and the
public trust
."

The hatred couldn’t be more apparent, and the desire to make sure that microphone is high, far and gone up Sterling’s ass couldn’t be any more obvious.

Make this happen, Vince.

    “Forced to listen”?

    Did the knobs on his radio break off?

    Being forced to read Mushnick’s bullshit holier-than-thou diatribes would be my own personal hell.

    Mushnick is outrageous, I love his columns that spew venom, he loathes Sterling and ESPN, it’s delicious.

    Yeah, Sterling is not the best, but he ranks a million spots above having to ever listen to Keith Hernandez.
