Gumbel to Sager: “I’m coming for ya”

Bryant-Gumbel

Strangely, Craig Sager already had a response ready for Bryant Gumbel before this post even went up.  The  fashion-forward, brightly lit TNT reporter shouted the following gem into our voicemail before arrogantly farting into the phone and hanging up:

"Honky please… I have the same coat with actual vines and a mini Tarzan swinging around.  Next."

Expect Sager to be wearing the San Diego Chicken during his next television appearance.

Gumbel is clearly a force to be reckoned with now, but if that were Sager, he would’ve replaced that tame tie with a digital picture tie…

What Tiger is to golf, Sager is to suits….times infinity. You just don’t mess with the Sagermeister.

The positive side is that this might force Sager to pick up his game, possibly bring out some old suits from the 70’s.

Besides, Sager’s style is hilarious; Gumbel totally fucked it up by going for “WTF was he thinking?”

if he was trying to go for the tarzan-look, why didn’t gumbel show up in a loincloth to the interview? beats the suit jacket that looks like it was made from grandma’s old couch or curtains by a wide mile!

Is it fair to be suspicious of an entire profession because of a few bad apples? There are at least two important differences, it seems to me. First, no one doubts that science actually works, whatever mistaken and fraudulent claim may from time to time be offered. But whether there are any “miraculous” cures from faith-healing, beyond the body’s own ability to cure itself, is very much at issue. Secondly, the expose’ of fraud and error in science is made almost exclusively by science. But the exposure of fraud and error in faith-healing is almost never done by other faith-healers.
