Local mud wrestling circuit still outselling Atlanta Thrashers

It's been estimated that Philips Arena has sold approximately three hot dogs, seven beers and eight caskets through 25 Atlanta Thrasher home games this season.

And no, this is not the same inspiring picture from their last home ice glory moment.

I see a few more people have started going to the games. That or someone photoshopped them in?

Must’ve been a give-away night. “Free cyanide capsule to every fan if we end up with more fans than penalty minutes.” Something like that.

That town is so lame though much better than when I lived there 1997-2000 when one could hardly not tell that the Olympics were there will all the down-home phoney local bojacks in that area full of NY expatriates and Southerners who can’t think beyond its size.

Rightly it’s college football central except they hate Notre Dame and Roman Catholics with a passion, but for its other sports they are fair weather fans at best. It’s not a basketball or hockey town for sure.

The women are hot there though and second only to Las Vegas in overall quality I say, though I’d take the women of Honolulu/Oahu over the Atlanta women now because there are not as many ninnies around and they are spicier too.

The Atlanta area is more like the capital of the remnant Confederacy rather than a truly national city except for some parts of Fulton County.

And for you smug Yankee-types note that Philadelphia is the most racist of any other place I have lived.

Probably just a beer-nachos grande run

The beer and nachos grande in Atlanta are WAY better.

…see where I’m going with this?

(Thrashers fans have it tough enough as it is; cut ’em some slack.)
