New York media boner for Steve Lavin’s wife currently beat red

Steve-Lavins-Wife Yesterday was a landmark day in New York City.  St. John’s landed a charismatic coach with a heavy emphasis on great hair and beat reporters for the New York Daily News and New York Post finally got to see a female for the first time in what many are guessing to be about two years.

The following quote is what we like to call “sports writing for fucking idiots”:

“The buzz arrived in the form of Lavin, 45, and his actress wife, Mary Ann Jarou. They are the Brangelina of the college basketball couples.”

Atrocious.

Later on, towards the end of his press conference after observing the widespread absurdity, bad hair and endless sets of unused testicles, the often sarcastic Lavin announced the Johnnies would play home games next season in C3PO armor, though the statement appeared to gloss over the sea of envying and predominantly nude beat reporters.

East Coast media boner actually, which is of course the dominant “national” media horseshit mound and then some.

Great call Hernia, for most folks in New York do not notice the immense media bias.

I heard ESPN homer the Big East even in the name of West Virginia yesterday after they slurped Villanova and Syracuse before, during, and after their losses.

Brad and Angelina are both actors so calling them the “Brangelina of the college basketball couples” would mean that she was a basketball coach too, right? It makes no sense. IT MAKES NO SENSE. NONE! AHHH!!!!!

    (she does look hot though)
